TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Welcome to FindStox (the "Service", "we", "us", "our"), available at https://www.findstox.com. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and FindStox. By creating an account, connecting a brokerage feed, purchasing credits, or otherwise using the Service, you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.

1. WHAT FINDSTOX IS
FindStox is a research and portfolio analytics platform for individual investors. Depending on your plan and settings, it provides:
- Portfolio analytics. A read-only connection to your Interactive Brokers (IBKR) account that imports positions, trades, dividends, fees, cash flows and net asset value, and turns them into dashboards, charts, performance metrics and IRR calculations.
- AI-generated equity research. On-demand research reports and pitch decks about publicly listed companies, produced by an automated pipeline (see section 5).
- Coverage and alerts. Monitoring of regulatory filings and news for the companies you hold or follow, delivered by email.
- A trading journal. Notes and annotations you attach to charts, together with any files you upload.
- Public content. A newsletter directory, blog articles, tools and other freely available material.
FindStox is an information and software service. It is not a broker, not an investment firm, not an investment adviser, and not a financial institution. Nothing in the Service is investment, financial, tax, accounting or legal advice. See section 12.
2. ELIGIBILITY AND ACCOUNTS
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract to use the Service. The Service is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect their data.
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details, for keeping your password and any tokens confidential, and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us immediately at [email protected] if you believe your account has been compromised.
We may operate parts of the Service by invitation or allow-list, and we may open, restrict or withdraw such access at any time.
3. INTERACTIVE BROKERS INTEGRATION
If you choose to connect a portfolio, FindStox retrieves your data through the Interactive Brokers Flex Web Service using a Flex Query token and query ID that you generate in your own IBKR account and supply to us.
- The connection is strictly read-only. FindStox cannot place, modify or cancel trades, cannot move funds, and cannot change anything in your brokerage account.
- Your token is stored encrypted and is used only to fetch your reports.
- You may disconnect at any time in your FindStox settings, and you may revoke the token at any time inside IBKR. Revoking it stops all further imports.
- We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of Interactive Brokers. Your relationship with IBKR is governed by your agreements with them.
You are responsible for having the right to supply the data you connect. Do not connect an account whose data you are not entitled to share.
4. CREDITS, PLANS AND BILLING
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never receive or store your full card details.
Credits. Research features are paid for in credits. Credit packs are one-time purchases. Credits are a prepaid unit of account for use inside FindStox only: they have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, transferred between accounts, or resold.
- Purchased credits do not expire while your account exists.
- Subscription allowance credits are granted for each paid period and roll over for a limited number of months only (currently two, so the cap is three periods' worth). Allowance credits above the cap lapse, and allowance credits are always spent before purchased credits.
- Prices for each pack and plan are shown at checkout and are the prices that apply to that purchase.
Subscriptions. Paid plans renew automatically for the stated interval until cancelled. You can cancel at any time through the customer portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period, and you keep access until then. Cancelling does not delete credits you already hold.
One-time entitlements. Some offers (for example "Founder") grant a permanent entitlement to a set of features for a single payment. They do not include recurring credits and they do not entitle you to future products that we may price separately. We may withdraw such an offer for new buyers at any time; existing holders keep what they bought.
Price changes. We may change prices for future purchases and for future subscription periods. We will give reasonable advance notice of a change affecting an active subscription, and you may cancel before it takes effect.
Failed payments and chargebacks. If a payment is refunded, reversed, or disputed, we may reclaim the credits it funded and suspend or revoke the access it paid for. Where reclaiming leaves a negative balance, that balance must be settled before further paid use.
5. AI-GENERATED RESEARCH: WHAT YOU ARE BUYING
Research reports, financial models, charts and pitch decks produced by FindStox are generated by an automated pipeline built on large language models, working from public sources such as SEC EDGAR filings, market data feeds and web search. They are reviewed by automated quality gates, not by a licensed human analyst.
You acknowledge and accept that:
- Output can be wrong. Automated systems can misread filings, miscalculate, or state figures that are not supported by any source. Every number, statement and conclusion must be independently verified against primary sources before you rely on it.
- Output is not a recommendation. Ratings, price targets, valuations and similar statements are illustrative model outputs, not advice, and not a personal recommendation within the meaning of MiFID II or any equivalent regime. They are not issued by an investment firm and are not "investment research" as regulated financial promotion.
- Output is a point-in-time artefact. It reflects information available when it was generated and is not updated, corrected or maintained afterwards unless you run a new report.
- We do not guarantee the outcome of a run. A run consumes real computing resources over several hours. We aim to deliver a complete report for every run, but a run may fail, be interrupted, or produce output you consider unsatisfactory.
You may use reports you generate for your own investment purposes, internally within your own organisation, and you may quote short extracts with attribution to FindStox. You may not resell them, redistribute them at scale, publish them as your own work, or use them to provide investment advice or research to third parties, without our prior written permission.
6. REFUNDS AND RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
Credits are consumed the moment you start a run, and a started run immediately incurs computing and model costs that cannot be recovered. Accordingly:
- Unused credits. If you are a consumer in the EU, you may withdraw from a credit-pack purchase within 14 days and receive a refund of any credits from that purchase that you have not yet spent.
- Spent credits and started runs. By starting a research run you expressly request immediate performance of the service and acknowledge that you thereby lose the right of withdrawal for that run. Credits already spent are non-refundable, including where you are dissatisfied with the output, and including where a report contains errors of the kind described in section 5.
- Subscriptions. You may cancel at any time for future periods. Fees for the current and past periods are not refunded, and the allowance credits already granted for the current period remain yours to spend.
- Failed runs. If a run fails for reasons within our control and produces no usable deliverable, we will restore the credits it consumed. This is your sole remedy for a failed run.
- Nothing in this section limits mandatory statutory rights that cannot be waived under the law of your country of residence.
Beyond the above we may grant refunds at our discretion. Doing so once does not create an entitlement.
7. YOUR CONTENT
You keep ownership of everything you put into the Service: portfolio data, journal notes, annotations, uploaded files, profile text. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, store, process, transmit and display that content strictly as needed to operate the Service for you, and to publish the parts you explicitly choose to make public (section 8).
You must not upload content that is unlawful, infringing, malicious, or that you have no right to share. Storage is subject to a per-account quota shown in your settings; we may refuse or remove uploads that exceed it or that breach these Terms.
8. PUBLIC PROFILES
Publishing a profile is entirely your choice and is off by default. If you switch it on, the username, biography, links and the specific performance metrics you select become publicly visible on the internet and may be indexed by search engines and cached by third parties.
You decide which metric blocks are shown. Position-level holdings are not published unless a feature explicitly says so and you enable it. You can unpublish at any time, but we cannot recall copies that third parties already made.
Do not publish anything that misrepresents your track record or that could reasonably be read as an offer, solicitation or performance claim in the course of an advisory or fund business. That is your responsibility, not ours.
9. MCP TOKENS AND THIRD-PARTY AI CLIENTS
FindStox can issue personal access tokens that let an external AI client (for example Claude Desktop or Claude Code) read your portfolio data through our MCP endpoint.
- A token is a credential. Treat it like a password. We store only its hash and can never show it to you again after creation.
- What you connect, you disclose. Data read through such a token leaves FindStox and is processed by whatever tool you connected, under that provider's terms and privacy policy. We have no control over it and no responsibility for it.
- You are responsible for every request made with your token. Revoke it in your settings if a device is lost or a tool is no longer trusted.
Tokens are rate limited, and we may revoke a token or the whole endpoint if it is abused or endangers the Service.
10. ACCEPTABLE USE
You must not:
- attempt to access another user's data, account, tokens or reports;
- scrape, crawl or bulk-extract the Service, or circumvent rate limits, credit accounting, paywalls or access controls;
- resell, sublicense or provide the Service or its output as your own product or as an advisory service to third parties;
- interfere with the Service's integrity, security or availability, or probe it for vulnerabilities without our written permission;
- use the Service to break securities, market-abuse, sanctions or data-protection law, or to process personal data of others without a legal basis;
- misuse the sandbox, the research pipeline or any automation to run workloads unrelated to your own research.

11. THIRD-PARTY DATA AND ACCURACY
The Service displays data originating from Interactive Brokers, SEC EDGAR and other regulators' filing systems, market data providers, news sources and search providers. Portfolio figures are only as accurate as what IBKR reports. Market prices, charts, fundamentals and news may be delayed, incomplete, mistranslated or wrong, and a feed may be unavailable.
We make no representation or warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, timeliness or availability of any such data, and we are not liable for errors or omissions in it. Never rely on FindStox as your only source for a financial decision, and never treat it as a book of record for tax or regulatory reporting.
12. NO INVESTMENT ADVICE
Nothing on the Service — including analytics, metrics, alerts, research reports, models, price targets, ratings, decks, blog articles or newsletter listings — constitutes investment, financial, tax, accounting or legal advice, an offer, a solicitation, an inducement, or a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security or to adopt any strategy. No content is tailored to your circumstances, objectives or risk tolerance, and no fiduciary or advisory relationship arises from your use of the Service.
Investing involves risk, including the total loss of capital. Past performance, whether your own or modelled, does not predict future results. All decisions and their consequences are yours alone, and you should consult a qualified, licensed professional before acting.
13. AVAILABILITY AND CHANGES
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may change, add or remove features, and we may impose or adjust technical limits. Some features are labelled beta or experimental and may be unstable, incomplete or withdrawn.
We aim for continuous availability but do not promise it. Maintenance, third-party outages, provider rate limits and failures beyond our control can interrupt the Service.
14. SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION
You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from your settings. Deletion is immediate and irreversible: it removes your portfolio snapshots, journal notes, attachments, tokens and profile, and cancels any active subscription. Unused credits are forfeited on deletion.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, if your use threatens the security, legality or integrity of the Service, or if payment is reversed or disputed. Where the circumstances allow, we will warn you first and give you a chance to put it right.
Sections 5, 6, 11, 12, 15, 16 and 20 survive termination.
15. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty that the Service or its output will be uninterrupted, secure, accurate, complete, or profitable.
16. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for investment losses, lost profits, lost opportunities, loss of data, or any indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service or from any decision taken on the basis of its content.
- Our total aggregate liability for all claims arising in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you actually paid us in that period, or EUR 100 if you paid nothing.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for intent or gross negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. If you are a consumer, your mandatory statutory rights are unaffected.
17. INDEMNITY
You will indemnify us against claims, damages and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these Terms, from content you upload or publish, from data you connect without the right to do so, or from your use of the Service in breach of law.
18. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms. For material changes we will notify registered users by email or in the app before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the Service and delete your account.
19. PRIVACY
How we collect and handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy at https://www.findstox.com/privacy-policy, which forms part of these Terms.
20. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTES
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. The competent courts of the Netherlands have exclusive jurisdiction.
If you are a consumer resident in the EU, this choice does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence, and you may also bring proceedings in the courts of that country. The European Commission's online dispute resolution platform is available at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
21. MISCELLANEOUS
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any plan description shown at checkout, are the entire agreement between us. If a provision is held invalid, the rest remains in force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them to a successor of our business.
